How is Dancing on Ice Structured
Dancing on Ice is a British Television show taking place every Sunday at 6pm for 2 hours. It features celebrity contestants who pair up with professionals and perform a figure skating routine in front of a panel of judges. There are 12 couples in total and each week, contestants and their partners are required to perform a live ice-skating routine with one couple being eliminated in each show. After each performance the judges will each award the couple a score from 0.0 to 10.0. These scores are then added to a public vote and the two couples with the least number of total votes will have to compete in the Skate Off where they will perform their routine again. The judges then decide who gets to stay in the competition and who will be forced to leave.
The thirteenth edition of Dancing on Ice will be the first to feature “The Golden Ticket”, which will allow judges to spare a couple from facing elimination during the first two weeks. One couple per week will receive this pass to guarantee them a place in the third show of the series.
The show initially ran from 2006 to 2014✤ after which i༺t was cancelled and then revived in 2018.
Dancing on Ice 2020 Betting Odds
The thirteenth edition of Dancing on Ice will return to our screens on Sunday, January 17th at 6pm on . It will run for a total of 10 weeks every Sunday from 6-8 PM, and while the final date hasn’t officially been confirmed yet, it should fall on the 21st of March 2021. It will be a little different to what fans are used to because of COVID-19 restrictions, with the main change being a lack of a live audience. There’s still plenty to look forward to though.
The show will be hosted once again by the due of Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, and participants will be judged by the likes of Jayne Trovill, Christopher Dean, John Barrowman & Asley Banjo.
So who will emerge victorious? Let’s take a look at what the bookies think…
Dancing on Ice 2021 Betting – Outright Winner Odds

Lady Leshurr | 33/1 |
Rufus Hound | 40/1 |
Bookies have placed Soap star Faye Brooks as the front runner of this year’s edition with Colin Jackson and Denise Van Outen following close behind. The much-loved actress is best known for playing Kate Connor on ITV programme Coronation Street. She’ll be partnered with skating pro Hamish Gaman.
Meanwhile, Rebekah Vardy, Lady Leshurr and Rufus Hound are tipped as the least likely winners. Rebekah – wife of 34-year-old Leicester football star Jamie Vardy – recently admitted to slicing pro partner Andy Buchanan’s face open 🅺during training practice, which is unlikely to have inspired many✅ punters to back her.
Keep in mind that these odds will fluctuate as the tournament progresses, depending on how the skaters do.
Dancing on Ice 2021 Betting – Top Man
Extracted from bet365, last updated 13/01/2021
When we narrow it down to the men, Welsh Olympian Colin Jackon is the firm favourite to end up on top. The former sprint hurdling athlete recently revealed that he has “unfinished business” with the s🍃how, having lost by fine margi♈ns back to Olympic Rowing champion Steve Williams back in 2012.
Behind him stands the legendary 52-year-old singer and actor Jason Donovan, as well as the youthful 18-year-old soap star Joe Warren Plant and Olympic skier Graham Bell.
Dancing on Ice 2021 Betting – Top Woman
Overall favourite Faye Brookes unsurprisingly tops the list for Top Woman, with the likes of TV personality Denise Van Outen, musician and presenter Myleene Klass and former TOWIE star Billie Shepherd priced at significant🍸ly longer odds below her.

What are the Best Dancing on Ice Betting Tips?
We’ve compiled a list of ﷽some the best Dancing on Ice betting tips to help you make the most informed and reliable bet possible so that you can i🅰ncrease your chances of making the right selections and getting a win.
Research the Contestants
Contestants with athletic/dance experience tend to progress further in Dancing on Ice since they are stronger and more flexible, especially when compared to some of the other competitors who might fail to meet adequate fitness standards. Many past winners share attributes of athleticism so fi🧜nding a cont﷽estant that matches this profile could prove to be a highly reliable bet.
Track the Professionals
Assessing the overall record and skills of the different professionals can also give you more a reliable indication as to how they might perform throughout the competition. Has the professional dancer ever gone on to win the competition? Do they tend to make mistakes? And if so, how often? Although the professional figure skaters are not the ones being the judged, even a minor slip up might be enough to put the celebrity contestants off their game. A celebrity and a professional with the right combination of skill and athleticism can make for an unstoppable form.
Wait for the Right Moment
Instead of placing a bet straight away, wait for gossip magazines to publish behind the scenes images and reveal inside knowledge on potential favourites. Contenstants start training for the show months in advance and some might be more ahead than others which will🎐 likely give them a better chance of progressing better. The Dancing on Ice betting odds will fluctuate to reflect this.
Consider Going for an Accumulator
If there is a couple that is clearly falling behind from the rest and likely to be eliminated from the competition, it might be wise to place an accumulator bet on them to be eliminated tog🤡ether with your bets on who you think will come out on top. By creating an acca, you are heavily increasing the sum of your poten🌳tial winnings.
What are the Most Popular Dancing on Ice Bets?
Even though betting on the overall winner of the competition or the highest finish man or woman are the most popular markets, there are several other Dancing on Ice betting markets for you to enjoy.
Dancing on Ice Winner
As with any other specials event, the most popular market is the one where you can predict who is going to be the outright winner of the competition. Whilst more often than not, a clear favour🐭ite💞 tends to appear at the beginning of the show, you should always the consider the possible emergence of a dark horse who can win over both the judges and the public.
Top Man/Woman
In what can be seen as safer version of the outr꧑ight🐼 winner market, you can choose to bet on who you think will finish as the top man or top woman in the competition. If the top favourites of the competition are all of the same gender, it might be a good idea to bet on the top finisher of the other gender as the odds could still very favourable.
Next Elimination
Every week, the couple with the fewest votes are eliminated from Dancing on Ice. Betting on the next elimination is basically a bet on which couple/skater will suffer the pain of dropping out in the coming round. This presents an opportunity for punters to bet o🦄n a weekly basis, allowing for more potential wins.
Top 3/Top 2 Finish
If you’re feeling a bit weary about who will go on to win the competition, betting on who you think will finish in the top 2 or the top 3 could prove to be a much safer bet. Naturally, the odds for these categories will be significantly lower than betting on the outright winner however this could be a useful ဣbet if you’re look to put some money on a contestant who is unlikely to win but has a lot of potenಞtial to have a podium finish.
Gender of Winner
Given that past winners of there isn't much to separate previous winners when it comes to gender, this could be a very interesting market to play on. This market could also prove to be useful as a safe bet if the favourites to win the competition are of the same gender, or as a risky higher-yielding bet if the two favourites are of different genders.

ThePuntersPage Final Say & Predictions
Dancing on Ice is the first specials event from the many exciting spectacles in the UK betting calendar which punters can look forward to. This year’s line up offers an entertaining list of cast members who could throw the betting markets wide open once the show begins. At the time of writing, Faye Brookes heads into the competition as favourite, but if Colin Jackson has retained the skills he demonstrated during the one-off ice skating Olympic special in 2012, he may well be the one to pick this year.
